Viv Brown has worked very hard to compile this attractive display to commemorate 70 years of the Inner Wheel Club of Mansfield.
Please try to call in to the museum before 24th March to browse around all the lovely nostalgic bits and pieces that have been put together.
And see how the Inner Wheel is still a vibrant expanding organisation after all this time: raising funds for local charities and promoting international friendship with links to Inner Wheel Clubs all over the world.
This year already, our barn dance raised £1500 to be divided locally between the Women’s Refuge, The Salvation Army and the Children’s Bereavement Trust.
For overseas we collect money for Water Aid and World Book Aid and an on-going project is making joy bags, toy bags, roy bags and baby bundles in support of the National Police Aid Convoy based here in Mansfield which sends these items to places like Syria and Zambia at the present time. ( These bags contain small items for ladies, children, men and new born babies respectively.)
We recently held a sandwich lunch to raise funds to help rebuild a school in a village devastated by the earthquake in Nepal

Well done Dee. This is marvellous and another new chapter for Mansfield Inner Wheel Club.
Dain gave an excellent interview on Radio Nottingham about the club, its membership and its activities as well as the forthcoming Annual Association Conference in Nottingham.
