Members and friends enjoyed a wonderful evening of music, laughter and dancing at our recent ceilidh, which proved to be a great success. Around 90 people attended, creating a lively and welcoming atmosphere from the very start.

The evening was filled with energetic dancing, with everyone encouraged to join in regardless of experience. The caller ensured that even beginners quickly felt at ease, and the dance floor was rarely empty as guests embraced the spirit of the occasion.

A delicious ploughman’s supper was served, providing the perfect opportunity for guests to relax, socialise and recharge before returning to the dancing. The combination of good food, great company and traditional music made for a truly memorable event.

We are delighted to report that the evening raised an impressive £1,700, which will be donated to Rainbow Hospice and John Eastwood Hospice. These funds will support the invaluable work carried out by both organisations, and we are proud to contribute to such important causes.
